    How does housing work?

Housing will be provided, in the form of beds, couches, floor space, and camping space, contingent on folks here in Eugene offering up space they have. What we plan to do is match up folks who need housing with folks who have it. If you have or need housing, please fill out our on-line housing form.
If you're interested in for-money housing options, check out these For-Money Housing Listings. (The hostel in Eugene is offering their member's rate for conference goers. 541-349-0589)

What kind of food will be provided?

The food we provide will be Vegan. The amount of food we provide will depend on how many food donations we can solicit. We will do the best we can, but please come prepared to share the task of feeding yourself. ** please bring your own dish and utensil if you can! **

    Is childcare avalable?

Childcare is being provided at the conference for free during all workshops (room 137 Education). While snacks and juice will be available, childcare will not be provided during meals, from 1-2 and 5-6:30 on Saturday and Sunday. Please feel free to observe, play, ask questions and voice any concerns to the childcare providers or at the information table. ... There are also workshops just for kids! See the schedule, or workshop descriptions.

What's the scoop on the art show?

Due to space limitations, this year's art show has been canceled. Instead, "People of every gender and artists of every sort are encouraged to gather in rm 136 Sunday at 2pm. Bring in your drawings, photos, paintings, sculptures, poems, songs, stencils, patches, whatever you have created that helped you attain catharsis or empowerment. Or bring yourself and your stories of past creative accomplishments or outline your plans for future installments. Practice or relive your performance art and street theatre. Network with others and plan future artworks. Realize that everyone is an artist! Feel free to bring supplies for additional artistic creations. Open to all."

What if I need a translator or info in alternative formats?

If you have any special needs, please contact us. We should be able to accommodate you. I know for sure at this point that ASL translators will be available on call, as well as one Spanish translator. The opening address will be translated into ASL.

What if I want to facilitate a workshop or discussion?

It's too late to get on the schedule, however, there will be slots on Saturday and Sunday for 'spontaneous' workshops, discussions or caucuses, so come prepared.

So, is this a "University Event"?

No, not really. The Insurgent, ASUO Women's Center, LGBTQA, Cultural Forum and Survival Center are helping out by scheduling rooms and with financial support, but it's not otherwise campus affiliated. Some organizers are students--many are not.
